Before your call
It takes about two minutes, and it means we spend the call on what is wrong in the account rather than on finding our way around it. Read only: we can look, we cannot change or spend anything.
Sign in at ads.google.com with the account that owns the ads. It has to be someone with admin access, which is usually whoever set it up.
Click the tools icon in the top bar, then Admin, then Access and security. On some accounts it sits under Setup.
Open the Managers tab and click the plus. Enter 607-190-9658 and choose Read only. That is the level we want. We cannot change anything, spend anything or see your billing.
Click Send request. It lands with us straight away and we will accept it before your call. You can remove it any time from the same screen.
Our manager account: 607-190-9658
Can you change my campaigns? No. Read only means exactly that. If we spot something worth changing we will tell you on the call and you decide.
Can you see my billing or card? No. Read-only access does not include billing details.
What if I cannot find the screen? Send us the account ID instead, the ten digit number in the top corner, and we will send you the request to accept.
How do I remove it later? Same screen, Managers tab, remove. No notice needed and nothing breaks.
